Print "Cup” by Johannes Geppert

380g/m

Printed at award wining photo lab whitewall Berlin.

Artist Johannes Geppert

About Johannes Geppert:

Johannes moved to Australia from Hamburg Germany when he was 20 years old and have lived there ever since. Apart from his new hometown, he have lived in Berlin, Montreal and Vancouver over the past years.

His Collage work is in essence inspired by colors and textures found in nature. The ocean, mountains, rivers, rocks, tree bark, earth and clouds to mention a few of his favorite parts. But he also get inspired by weathered urban textures within the city terrain and influenced by the ascetics of earthy ceramics and pottery.

His process is combining reclaimed textiles, vintage paper, reclaimed paper (some of them paint on) and other weathered and time-worn materials to create his Collages.

“When we think how long humans have lived in nature before we had fast-moving cities & urban communities, I wholeheartedly believe that natural textures and colors have a wholesome and calming effect on the mind, body and soul. So, with much love, here they are!”
