H&M home - Spring 2020

There's a lot of creative collaboration. Every season, we start off by getting the design team together for a brainstorming session where we discuss trends and share ideas. We come up with trend directions, new colours, materials and prints. When the overall vision is ready, the product designers start to develop the products. The designers work in close cooperation with the buyers. As designers we're also very interested in sales. Although the Christmas trees and the festive decorations just found their way into our homes, I'm already thinking about the days after... the next season ;)

This week H&M home has shared the first press images of their new - Spring 2020 - collection and I just love it! The sneak peek is all about furniture and storing solutions in natural materials like seagrass or FSC-certified wood combined with rattan, but also about accessories in a palette of warm neutrals for a serene style. The blankets, cushion covers, rugs, towels and bed linen come in various shades of beige, perfect to create a warm minimalist atmosphere if you ask me! In this new collection we also see beautiful ceramic sculptures, vases and candle holders… beautiful eye catchers that fit in every home! What is your favorite item?
