During Dutch Design week we were asked by bulthaup to be one of the table guests at their Table Talks sessions. The setting was simple and beautiful as you can see in the images we shot during the day. The Table Talks sessions were all about people and passion and the ability to generate new ideas. A small, intimate audience had the opportunity to listen in and participate in the conversation.

Bulthaup is know for it’s kitchen systems. But why does bulthaup produces kitchens and what drives them? They want to bring people together and believe that the kitchen or the table is the right place for that. They aim to bring people together to create moments that have value to them. A moment of table talks.

By starting a conversation between the invited guests -analoge, old school, face to face- bulthaup aims to be at the heart of new job opportunities, inspiration and fresh business ideas.

Together with Lucia Parlanti from Tea Stories we talked about slow living and mindfulness. What it means to us in daily life and how it influences the way we work. Talking about these subjects and being honest about it might give inspiration and ideas and opens up subjects that you maybe normally wouldn’t talk about easily in public. It was the first time creating a podcast for me so I was a bit scared in the beginning but eventually you just talk and forget a bit being recorded.

If you are curious you can listen the podcast here.
