One of the things  I do like about Instagram ( 'cause yes, their is also a lot to dislike as well ) is how you can get inspired in a positive way.

While the use of plastic and the no waste issue is a lot in the media lately, I very much get inspired to be active with these matters. So when swiping through Instagram Stories I came across the #plasticfreejuly challenge. Another reminder to reduce your waste. Because when you pay a little more attention to it, you'll notice how many plastic we use, how much we throw away and the fact that supermarkets throw away tonnes of perfectly good food each year. Having all of that in mind it's time to encourage people around you to be more aware of their plastic use and product use, so we can create a cleaner world for generations to come.

Let's start with not using plastic shopping bags, straws, takeaway containers and coffee cups – just to name a few.

Luckily their are lots of great companies where you can find the most beautiful items that will help you improve your new lifestyle. Like The Zero Waste Collective, an online community where anyone worldwide can join the zero waste conversation.

At 'Leven zonder afval' ( Dutch ) you'll find all kinds of products that will help you with your no plactic/ no waste journey. And you will definitely will get inspired at Package Free.

So, who's with me? - Vivian
