Sibast Furniture started in 1908, with a little carpentry on the countryside on the island of Funen in Denmark. During the next generations, the company became a fast growing furniture company, selling Danish design around the world. The furniture pieces became typical Danish design classics and the copyright even stayed into the family during some years of extern leadership.

In 2012 Sibast Furniture was established again by Ditlev and Anna Sibast, who put their passion for Danish design and the designs of their grandfathers in the company again. Their passion for Danish design lead to the very first re-launch of the Danish design classic, the dining chair Sibast No 8.

After the Sibast No 8. also the Sibast chair No. 7 was re-launched. Can't decide which chair we like the most because they both look amazing. A chair to remember and one of our favorite designs.
