'Mooi wat planten doen' is an initiative of the Flower Council of Holland and is dutch for 'Beautiful what plants do'. It has been proven that you feel better with plants around you and thanks to the Flower Council you can experience this in the First or Second store in Alkmaar.

You'll find a wide variety of indoor plants, often several cultivars of one kind. Both hanging as standing plants. Totally green or colored blooming and we picked some of our favorites to share with you!

A dark green room plant like this Alocasia Calidora gives your living room a fresh look. It ensures peace and simplicity, but is on the other hand a true eye-catcher in your workspace or living room.

Macramé plant hangers are very trendy right now! It takes a little time but it's simple to create them. Fun for yourself or as a (Christmas)gift.

We also really like these mini Succulents. Make your own little garden by mixing them up and put them together in a low box and they fit perfectly into different spaces.
