Hidden and exposed, darkness and light and mystery and clarity - New Works 3 days of Design

“Hidden and exposed, darkness and light, mystery and clarity. To illustrate the duality that exists in everything and has been the part of New Works since the very beginning, the exhibition consists of two parts divided between Frederiksgade 1 and Store Kongensgade 88. One is dark, one is light. One is intimate and quiet, ceremonial and embracing, the other airy and dreamy, grounded in a natural colour scheme.”

Unfortunately I couldn't be at the always inspiring 3 days of design event in Copenhagen this year. Happily many images have been shared on the socials and several press releases with the most beautiful images have also been emailed from the brands. One of the first mails I got was of the amazing New Works showroom. In collaboration with Lotta Agaton Interiors, New Works has presented an exhibition inspired by the balance and serenity found in Japan. For 3daysofdesign 2023, they have slow down their pace and dwell on tactility, shapes, and subtle movements to create a space that invites for tranquillity and for seeing the beauty in even the smallest gesture.  So beautiful to see the differences.
