Tradition Reimagined - Menu

The concept of Tradition Reimagined began with conversations about entertaining thoughtfully and gathering together at home. About private spaces and hospitality spaces and blending conventional categories. Older generations often began preparing for their guests days beforehand with careful planning, table settings and etiquette. Today our ways of entertaining may be different, but our desire to create memories, meaningful interactions and intimacy at home is as strong as ever. How might we blend the spirit of older traditions with modern design to create something new? How might we reimagine traditions? - Menu

Together with the designers Menzte Ottenstein , Gabriel Tan and Norm Architects , Menu has launched beautiful details for the set table. The collection is a concept brought to life by simple, beautiful design objects and we love it!

Including glassware, textiles, servingware and candleholders, the collection form an assortment of beautiful objects and tools for creating rooms that people love to gather in.

My favourite - the Yana Brewing Pot - serves up hot or cold tea or coffee thanks to its innovative double filter immersion design that steeps leaves and grinds in water to release their natural flavours. Just love the simple look of its sleek and speckled stoneware design. It blends perfectly with existing kitchenware designs but also with the other new pieces of the collection. Another favorite is the beautiful Etruscan Pitcher and jug created by Mathias Mentze and Alexander Ottenstein . The mirror-polished stainless steel items are real eyecatchers when serving drinks but also as a decorative object if you ask me. What is your favorite piece of this collection? You can admire the new collection here - Elvera
