Design Hostel - Book 1 | Brøchner Hotels

With the prospect that we will probably be able to travel again soon, you can imagine that my attention was caught immediately when I read the press release from Brochner Hotels about the opening of Design hostel Book 1.

Two weeks ago Brøchner Hotels has opened the doors to the former public library from 1934 in the centre of Aarhus, the second-largest city in Denmark. I have been at this amazing city for several times and besides visiting Copenhagen it seems so great to be able to go here again and rediscover the city. The acknowledged Danish boutique hotel chain has transformed the original library building into a luxury design hostel, BOOK1, that caters to the modern traveller.  

One of the most iconic new hybrid elements is the 'pod dorms', inspired by luxury capsule hotels in Japan and a reflection of the former bookshelves in the library.
