Workspacelove - Studio SK

After a fantastic Summer vacation with my family, it always takes some time getting used to switch back to the structure of our work week. Especially in a period when we are requested to still work from home as much as possible in the Netherlands and the living room suddenly becomes an office again.

Working at home has advantages, but I also enjoy working in the office environment every now and then. I‘m really a person who likes personal contact and who enjoys brainstorming with my colleagues and discuss certain things face to face.

Two weeks ago when I was in France, I saw the first photo on instagram of the studio of Stylist duo Sundling Kickén. I throughly enjoyed my vacation but was so inspired by this place at the time!

The Studio is located in central Gothenburg in a former governor’s house from 1924. According to the ladies it’s quite small but it has 5 meter heigh ceilings and two large arched windows that give a lot of daylight to make it easier to stay focused during long working days. The room was an uncut diamond that they have renovated from top to toe to get some shimmer and they really succeeded in that. They did such a great job don’t you think so? The mix of colors and used materials along with all the props and artwork they collected is really inspiring. You will find more images and information about this creative space at their website.
