Cabinlove - Tisvildeleje

What could possibly be nicer than sharing your holiday home after a wonderful vacation during your first work week? it's so nice to look back! If you follow me on instagram you might have seen some images of our wonderful vacation in Denmark this last week. After exploring the amazing nature of West Jylland last year, this year we went to the Danish riviera: North Zealand. 

I've always been intrigued by beautiful Scandinavian Summer houses and exactly one year ago I've  shared the pictures of a dream house that was located near our vacation home in the dunes of Sondervig (see here) where we really want to stay some other time. However, this year we found another dream house in the woods and close to the beach of Tisvilde.

From the moment I entered this house, it was love at first sight! I don't know if it was the woodburning stoove, the amazing view created by the large window sections in the house, or the opportunity to relax completely while at the same time Tisvilde with its cozy cafes and its wonderful beach was only a couple of kilometers away, but living in the forest gave us a peaceful feeling. 

We really enjoyed the beautiful coast of North Sealand, but also the forests. Zealand is really versatile; Denmark's largest lakes and forest areas are located here, as well as some of the most beautiful and impressive royal castles, inspiring museums (including the amazing Louisiana museum of modern art) and lets not forget one of my favorite European cities: Copenhagen.
