The Making of A. Journal of West Coast Culinary - Artilleriet
“Beautiful, high-quality lifestyle cook book that garnish its site both in the bookshelf and on the kitchen counter. A stylish box in the same color shade as front and back cover. Photographs with a beautiful tone enhanced by the paper selection. Inspiring and appetizing with a fine sense of material.” – Swedish Royal Library
I usually work at home on Friday and I love to start that day with a nice cup of coffee while I get inspired and read the latest news on instagram. This morning I've admired some amazing images at Artilleriet that they shared on their account to celebrate the fact that their first book has been awarded by the Swedish Royal Library.
In 2018 Gothenburg-based Artilleriet Interiors has launched their book “A. Journal Of West Coast Culinary”, a tribute to life in the kitchen with which they share and encourage their readers to explore the culinary movement of the West Coast of Sweden (Gothenburg and the surrounding areas) that truly inspires them; the food, the places, the people.
“Diversity and an unpretentious relationship with food have been the key words in the work, it has also been important to bring as many female food creators as possible. In the book , selected restaurants, kitchens and food creators are interspersed with recipes, personal presentations and image reporting; Everything from the pace of the star hunter to the silence of the sea farmer who harvests his own seaweed”.
So if you need some dining inspiration for this weekend, you will find some great recipes from the book - with the most beautiful teaser shots here. Now that the season has started, I think we will try the Scallops with white asparagus recipe, it looks so delicious! - Elvera -
