Living in a former weigh house - Scandinavian Living

After a busy week, we are so proud to see another production of our hand in the new issue of the Dutch Scandinavian Living by Bo Bedre.

For this edition we captured the home of Brecht, Jetze and their daughter Frija who live in the north of the Netherlands. We follow Brecht - who works as an interior designer for her own company BRECHTS interieur - through instagram for quiet a while now and it was so nice to admire her beautiful home, a former Butter weigh House from 1800.

Brecht's style is sober, chic and timeless. The spacious living room with the robust steel staircase overlooks a beautiful old street in their town Joure. When renovating their home, Brecht and Jetze wanted to be sure that elements of the former weigh house were kept, but they gave it their own twist. The old doors in the wooden wall and the original ceiling beams are such a beautiful part of this beautiful industrial minimalist home and definitely look stunning in deep black, dont you think so? -Elvera-

The new issue of Scandinavian Living magazine is out now in stores where you can find the complete feature about this home. Thank you Brecht and Jetze, for having us in your home.
