Maybe it's because of the ongoing heat in the Netherlands, certainly not made for it, but I really like to watch inspiring video's these days. Especially the ones shot in Denmark, no offence for the Londen video ofcourse but we simply love the Danes with their great accent when the speak English, anyway, the short movies by Fredericia X Elle Decoration to honour the Trinidad chair are very nice to watch. In your hammock, at the beach or in your lazy chair when it's finally raining. - Vivian

In collaboration with ELLE Decoration, Fredericia has visited 3 inspiring women to their home, featuring the Danish design iconic Trinidad; a chair designed by Nanna Ditzel. 

"I especially like Nanna Ditzel's chair because it's incredibly comfortable. It's a very pleasant chair to sit in, because it embraces you when you lean back in it" - says Line Thit Klein.

The precise transparency of the Trinidad chair almost dissolves in a play of light and shadow, yet at the same time gives the chair a strikingly bold voice. The chair without arms is stackable and comes with optional seat upholstery.

"The Trinidad chair, for me, is a dynamic design that has fluidity and movement especially in the shape of the back. Nanna Ditzel was inspired by the houses on the island of Trinidad. The same architectural references go back to the classic townhouses in London, " says Cate St. Hill.
