Seaside home by Norm Architects

Not sure if it is because we live nearby the sea and that's why it always appeals to me, but whenever we are visiting Copenhagen, we love to make a short trip to the coast. And although the Danish coast is a bit like the Dutch coast, when we visited the home of Jonas of Norm Architects a couple of years ago, we fell in love while driving by the beautiful roads near the sea.

Again, Norm Architects designed a beautiful interior, this time a seaside home, which they gave a Scandic-Bohemian feel in a renovated and modernised coastal home, in a quiet and secluded corner of Denmark. They combined Japanese zen aesthetics and a Danish cottage style charm and brought it together, boasting subtle, nordic luxury and eclectic design elements.

They used sand-coloured walls and earth-hued furnishings to create the colour palette of the coastal landscape, adding materials like wood and linen it becomes a warm family home.
