The Artemide Dioscuri table lamp - Elvera's home

Its been a while since I shared some photos of my living room. When you have been following me a little longer you´ll know that this space is one of the most restyled rooms in our home, but with this amazing everlasting summer I thought it was just fine to keep it as it was as we mainly enjoyed the outdoor life in our garden.

Now that the days are shorter and winter is coming, I always like to create a slightly lighter atmosphere indoors and of course we also have to make some space for the upcoming holidays and the matching festive decorations!

I like to re-use our furniture so I decided to move the favorite sideboard back from the attic (where it was used for storage) to the living room, where I will mainly use it for decoration purposes and I'm sure the Christmas greens will match perfectly. Isn't it great when it all comes together just by changing a few details?

I have also been looking for a small table lamp for a while. Who doesn't need extra light these days? Inspired by the ungoing trend of round lamps, I decided to look for a small and stylish ball lamp.

The minimalist design of the Artemide Dioscuri table lamp and its modest size fits perfectly in our small living room. The Dioscuri lamp is a beautiful, mouth-blown glass ball which provides a rustic light and can be used as a beautiful mood light but also as a pleasant reading lamp, The lamp looks so stylish on our sideboard but I've also been thinking about putting it in the windowsill or even on my bedside table. That's really the power of this lamp, it fits in practically every space or interior style.

The Dioscuri was designed by Michele De Lucchi who also designed the Tolomeo lamp. With a background in industrial design, he has crafted the Dioscuri Table Lamp for homes that dare to be different. Something that appeals to all of us I guess!
